Favicon (favorite icon) is a logo for blog or website. It appears in the address bar before the URL. It gives a brand for the site. Visitors recognize the site easily with the favicon.
1. Think for a creative and appropriate favicon
2. Create a logo with 64,64 pixels in Paint or Photoshop.
Resize it to 16,16 pixels.
3. Download Irfanview .
It takes one or Two minutes.
Install it.
4. Open Irfanview
5. Open logo.
Save as it as .ico file.
6. Go to a free favicon host.

Upload favicon.
View the image.
Copy the image location.
7. Paste it to a notepad file.

replace above part, with the image location.
Save it.
8. Sign in to Blogger.
Go to Design and Open Edit HTML.
in expanded view,
At the top of the page, in the Head section, above title tag
paste the code
Save HTML.
9. View the blog and refresh it .
10. Feel happy with own favicon.
